Announcing MacPaw as New Major Sponsor of the Mac Admins Foundation

The Mac Admins Foundation, the leading nonprofit organization supporting people who manage Apple products in the workplace, is proud to announce that MacPaw, a leading software development company focused on development of programs for users and businesses, is supporting the Mac Admins Community through a major sponsorship of the Mac Admins Foundation beginning today.

MacPaw is a software development company founded in 2008 in Kyiv, Ukraine. MacPaw’s primary focus is maintenance and security solutions. The company’s innovation culture allowed to create popular and helpful apps for Mac and iOS users: CleanMyMac X, Setapp, ClearVPN, SpyBuster, and other products. In 2017, MacPaw acquired The Unarchiver and has been actively supporting the product. Today, every fifth Mac in the world has at least one app by MacPaw.

MacPaw creates cybersecurity products and enhances its active software with features that ensure a safe online experience. In July 2023, MacPaw has launched Moonlock, a new cybersecurity division, which focuses exclusively on Mac users’ security. For 15 years and counting, MacPaw team has been on a mission to help machines help people. The company aims to empower and address the challenges of professional communities, including the Mac Admins community’s support.

The Mac Admins Foundation plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the Mac Admins Community, through running the popular Mac Admins Slack workspace, which provides more than 57,000 Apple-focused IT professionals a space to collaborate and share best practices. The foundation also offers training scholarships and provides Community & Conference Grants to support the entire Mac Admin community – from those just entering the workforce to seasoned professionals looking to advance their careers.

“We are so thankful for the support and partnership that MacPaw is providing, just like the great products that they make for businesses that use the Mac at any scale,” Co-Chair Tom Bridge said, “MacPaw’s support will make it possible to further the reach of the Mac Admins Foundation, support the development of community members through grants, and support the training of new Mac Admins through our sponsorship program.”

“At MacPaw, we envision a world where technology empowers human life. For 15 years, we have been crafting maintenance and security solutions to ensure every Mac user has a productive and safe online experience,” said Oleksandr Kosovan, Founder and CEO of MacPaw. “We always center our focus and actions on humans. The Mac Admins community shares our passion for empowering users. By supporting community development, we aim to help protect Mac users from cyber threats and transform their online experience into an effortless and exciting journey — whether they are tackling tasks at work or home.”
