Mac Admins Foundation Awards 2026 Charles S. Edge New Speaker Grant for MacAD.UK
The Mac Admins Foundation is thrilled to announce that Mirko Steinbrecher as the recipient of the 2026 MacAD.UK Charles S. Edge New Speaker Grant. This grant supports emerging speakers in the Apple system administration community, helping them share their expertise at conferences worldwide.
Mirko will present the session “macOS Deployment: from WTF? to FTW!”, exploring his company’s progression from manual device setup to a modern zero-touch strategy, and providing the practical strategies, real-world solutions, and lessons learned along the way.
The Charles S. Edge New Speaker Grant, named in honor of Apple community veteran Charles Edge, is designed to help speakers gain the opportunity to present at major conferences, covering travel, lodging, registration, and mentorship. Expanding the grant to MacAD.UK 2026 further’s MAF’s mission to foster knowledge sharing and professional growth within the Apple IT ecosystem.
“The Charles S. Edge New Speaker Grant exists to make sure voices like Mirko’s get heard,” said Board Secretary Rebecca Latimer. “The community is better when more people bring their experience to the table.”
